PlayWithStakes.com respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the “DMCA”). This page explains how to submit a copyright takedown notice if you believe content on PlayWithStakes infringes on a copyright you own or are authorized to act on behalf of, and how to file a counter-notice if your content has been removed in error.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our designated DMCA agent. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail that we can locate it (a direct URL is best).
- Your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Incomplete notices cannot be acted on. We will respond to a complete notice promptly, typically within 5 business days.
Designated DMCA Agent
Send notices to:

Mailing address: [TO BE ADDED — registered DMCA agent address]
Email notices are processed faster than mailed notices. Please include “DMCA Notice” in the subject line.
Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material removed and the location it appeared at before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, plus a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the district where you reside (or, if outside the U.S., to a federal court where PlayWithStakes may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant.
Send counter-notices to the same DMCA agent address above. After receiving a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If they do not file a court action within 10 to 14 business days, the removed material may be restored.
Repeat Infringers
PlayWithStakes maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts or commenting privileges of users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers.
Misrepresentations
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing — or that material was removed by mistake — may be liable for damages. Please consider this carefully before filing a notice.
