What a time to be combat sports fan! Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou will face off in a boxing match in Saudi Arabia on Oct. 28.
The fight will follow professional boxing rules with three judges using the 10-point must system. The event will be hosted by Riyadh Season, in collaboration with Queensberry, Top Rank, and GIMIK Fight Promotions.
Fury expressed his interest in fighting Ngannou last April, highlighting the potential for a clash of the titans. Fury’s most recent victory was against Derek Chisora in December. Ngannou defended his UFC heavyweight belt in January but parted ways with the UFC due to contract disagreements. Ngannou signed with PFL for MMA fights but can also pursue boxing matches outside of the promotion.
