Australian golfer Cameron Smith comes out on top at the LIV Golf-London tournament, securing his first win of the year. With a solid performance and a 3-under 68, Smith finished one shot ahead of Patrick Reed and Marc Leishman.

 

Despite a six-shot lead over Reed at the turn, Smith faced stiff competition on the back nine. Reed rallied with six birdies, while Leishman closed with a birdie to tie for second place.

Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces secured a one-shot victory in the team competition over Ripper, led by Smith. Smith’s individual win earned him a prize of $4 million.

 

Smith joins 16 other players from LIV Golf in competing at the upcoming British Open, held at Royal Liverpool.
